Adam’s bio

I looked for a place like Weston for years. I was thrilled to find it, and I wanted to give something back. I can type, and I know a bit about the net, so I started this blog back in 2010.

I have two wonderful kids, one cranky dog, a cat that doesn’t like me, and a wife that sometimes does. By day, I work at Seneca College, where I teach English. I’m the luckiest man you’ll ever meet.

    1. I’ve been living in the Weston area over 20 years. People having been telling me it’s a terrible area to live in but so far I’ve met amazing people in this neighborhood. I just wanted to say thank you for creating this site and posting / updating news to keep us apprised on what’s going on in the neighborhood! On behalf of the Weston community I’d like to thank you and keep up the great work!!

  1. I grew up in Weston during the 50s & 60s and left the area in the 70s after High School. The Weston today bears very little resemblance to the Weston of my youth and quite frankly I would never move back. It really was different back then and too many of the good things are gone. Change is inevitable but not all change is good.

  2. Adam, by chance do you have contact information for Rev. Douglas Varey who was the minister at Westminster United Church, 69 William Stree, York (Weston, Ontario? I am trying to locate him regarding the church closure in 2013. Thank you for your anticipated reply. Jill

  3. I have resided in Weston for just over ten years and have had the opportunity to engage with many community members. We are fortunate in Weston to have MPP Faisal Hassan that is actually invested in our community. As far as bike lanes yikes a disgrace we are so far behind. Without Councillor Nunziata on board well we have 100% electric cars before we catch up.
